La durée de la soutenance est d’environ 90 minutes pour tous les types de mémoire et doit être respectée. Les 30 premières minutes sont réservées à la présentation de l’étudiant, suivie par des questions du jury pendant environ 30 minutes supplémentaires. Ensuite, le jury se retire pour délibérer sur la notation. Enfin, la note devra être communiquée à l'étudiant à la fin de la soutenance.

Suggested presentation format:

About 25 minutes for the presentation. Too much detail means you won’t get through it all. We will stop you because there is limited time reserved in the room or before another defence starts. We need to do the questions, ask you to leave while we do the evaluation & prepare the observations, to have you re-join and read the observations and give you the note.
